WHAT IS
SET PLAN?

The European Strategic Energy Technology Plan aims to accelerate the deployment of green technologies.

It’s a key part of Europe’s plan to move towards a climate-neutral energy system, meaning we use less carbon and cleaner energy, while doing it quickly and at lower costs.

When was the SET Plan created?

The SET Plan started in 2007, and in 2015, it became a central tool for Europe’s Energy Union, which focuses on research, innovation, and competitiveness in the energy sector.

Our mission

The 2024 SET Plan Conference focuses on advancing the SET Plan to meet rising climate and energy goals. Together, we aim to foster innovation and collaboration for a sustainable, low-carbon future.
