Ms. Beatrix Andrea Kadar graduated as a biochemical engineer and chemical technical engineer from the Budapest University of Technology. Ms Kádár began her career in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has worked at the Permanent Representation of Hungary to the European Union in Brussels. She has been dealing with issues of energy policy matters, serving as deputy state secretary since 2014. Ms. Kadar was appointed to lead the Hungarian Atomic Energy Authority in 2021.
