Head of Research and Innovation

Natalie is an active contributor to the European research and innovation, especially in renewable energy and digitalisation within the energy sector. She co-developed a Solar Demonstration Platform, which introduced a new model for shared renewable infrastructures and a Solar Lab. She is a Steering Board member at AIOTI (Alliance for the Internet of Things Innovation), where she chairs the Working Group on Energy.
Natalie contributes in her roles as Honorary Chair of Working Group 1 on Smart Grids, and as a member of the Executive Committee (ExCo) of ETIP-SNET, where she serves as an energy expert. In addition, she co-leads the Business Models Working Group within the BRIDGE initiative and the Task Force on AI in the energy domain.
In her work with Enercoutim, Natalie has successfully concluded various H2020 program calls, particularly focusing on digitalisation in the energy sector. She is an entrepreneur who has designed and co-developed shared renewable infrastructure models for solar energy generation and launched IoT-driven spin-offs.
Moreover, Natalie serves as an advisory board member for multiple EU projects, such as those within the Data Spaces for energy, the EDDIE project, and the EU DREAM project, among others. She is also the co-founder of MCPV.eu, an initiative focused on large-scale greenfield manufacturing of GW-scale Heterojunction Technology (HjT) solar cells.
Her work is at intersections of energy innovation, policy, and digitalisation contributing to advancing Europe’s clean energy transition.
