Vice-Chair of the Research, Development and Innovation Committee (RDIC) of ENTSO-E, the European Network of Electricity Transmission System Operators

He is Vice-Chair of the Research, Development and Innovation Committee (RDIC) of ENTSO-E, the European Network of Electricity Transmission System Operators, whose main mission is to coordinate RDI activities of Electricity Transmission System Operators from 35 countries across Europe.

Electrical Engineer with +19 years of experience in energy and infrastructures and a 2nd level Master in Innovation and Technology Management, his expertise lies in guiding collaborative energy projects and fostering innovation within the electricity sector, particularly in the High Voltage Transmission field. In Terna SpA – the Italian TSO – since 2005, he is responsible for managing and executing the innovation portfolio for the National Transmission Grid.

Distinguished Member of CIGRE (International Council on Large Electric Systems) he is Deputy Chair of the Technical Council of the Italian Committee, previously Chair of the Next Generation Network (NGN) at National level.

He is also member of the Superior Technique Commission of CEI (Italian Electrotechnical Normative and Standardization Body).
